Bombers and Mash: The Domestic Front, 1939-45 (Paperback)
by Raynes Minns

Bombers and Mash tells the story of the domestic front during the Second World War. It gives an insight into the average women’s day to day struggle to make meals for their families with the small amount of food that they received; it even contains recipes from the time to help you really appreciate what life was like. Anyone interested in the period will find this book intriguing.
