Hello Jane, I just spoke to my Dad and I wanted to let you know that he was absolutely thrilled with the package! In his words, he was 'over the moon' and it has now inspired him to take some time to visit the war memorials where some of his family is buried and other places where they lived.

I received the pack this morning and wanted to let you know how pleased I am with it. I need to sit and read through it all again as there is so much information to take in. I really like the information on the jobs people had; it provides nice background detail and some idea of what their lives were like.
Thank you for enclosing the army papers for my mum's natural father. We have never had any information about him so simple details like eye and hair colour are particularly useful and I think my mum will be really pleased with these little details.
I think this is going to be a really popular gift and I am so pleased that I made that initial contact with you to see what was possible. I must admit, I did not expect to get so much.

It is far more comprehensive than I had anticipated. I'm pleased you failed to unearth any real villains! We're rather boring really but I think I now understand where my great love for the countryside and for music comes from.
