Through the Eyes of a Coventry Child 1939-1945, by Ann Harris

This book by Ann Harris gives a vivid insight into a child’s life in Coventry during the Second World War, based on the authors own experiences it is as a consequence very moving.

The frequent air raids, Blitz and evacuation together with the pain that separation brings make it a book you will want to read it again and again.
